Description
The Junior Civil Engineering Groundworker will learn civil groundworks through a paid training position, starting with supervised support tasks and progressing to independent work. Duties include preparing trenches, roadbeds, and work pits; finishing and leveling soil and sand; preparing sewer pipes, fittings, and gully pots; assisting with laying and connecting sewer systems; installing house connections and drainage; and cutting and assembling pipes. The role is physically demanding, requires outdoor work, and is intended for someone motivated to learn the trade, with no prior vocational qualification or experience required.
