Microsoft is hiring a Group Engineer Manager to lead Windows ML Runtime & Tools teams across Applied Science, Runtime, and MLIR. The role owns people, technical strategy, architecture, execution, security, privacy, performance, reliability, and delivery of compiler, runtime, graph-compilation, hardware-aware optimization, scheduling, memory orchestration, and secure execution capabilities across CPU, GPU, and NPU hardware. The manager will develop technical leaders, coordinate with Microsoft and silicon partners, resolve complex incidents, and translate platform vision into durable Windows platform capabilities. The role offers flexible work options, including partial remote work, and has a U.S. base pay range of USD $165,600-$296,400 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
