Description
The West Suburban YMCA is hiring Group Exercise Instructors for its Church St and Wells Ave locations. The role leads safe, educational group fitness classes, answers member questions, builds relationships, maintains attendance records, follows YMCA policies, and responds to emergencies. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, AED, a national group fitness certification, and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification; YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification is required within 60 days of hire. At least one year of group wellness-class teaching experience is preferred. Pay is $30-$45 depending on experience, certifications, and education, with free membership.
