The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is hiring a Group Leader to support before- and afterschool programs. The role assists the Site Director with daily operations, delivers age-appropriate activities and lesson plans, establishes routines and behavior expectations, ensures child safety, and communicates with families. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, obtain a Child Development Associate credential within 18 months, and hold or obtain CPR and First Aid certification. The position pays $16–$17.50 and includes retirement contributions, a 403(b) plan, free YMCA membership, professional development, and paid leave.
