AM General is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to coach and guide a team of engineers and lead quality functions across product development, production, engineering changes, and continuous improvement. The role covers APQP, FMEA, process control plans, measurement systems, inspection planning, SPC, GD&T, quality containment, quality-system changes, and cross-functional problem solving. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related technical field, at least five years of experience in automotive, defense, or manufacturing, and knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. The position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and may require shift or hours assignment.
