Description

The Town of Milton is seeking part-time qualified group Spin fitness instructors for its Community Services Department. This position involves delivering and conducting Spin and Sculpt fitness programs according to industry standards, modifying classes for various participant levels, creating a positive atmosphere, setting up and taking down equipment, and maintaining a safe facility. Candidates must be able to work variable hours, including weekdays and weekends.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: One (1) year instructing experience in a minimum of one fitness discipline.
Preferred Qualifications: Completion of post-secondary education in Health & Fitness Promotion, Recreation & Leisure Services or a related field.
Two (2) or more years instructing experience in multiple fitness disciplines.
Experience instructing fitness classes or working within the fitness field.
Children’s Fitness: HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development.
Strong program planning skills.

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Effective organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
