Speechmatics is hiring a backend engineer to own the development and reliability of its website and self-serve portal. The role involves building custom components, managing Vercel deployments and backend infrastructure, implementing UI changes, writing Python queries, improving conversion and site performance, and collaborating with product, design, and data teams. Candidates should have JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, LLM/AI development, product-led growth, and deployment experience.
