Description
The role owns the flight simulation, navigation, guidance, and control algorithms for an exo-atmospheric interceptor, from flight through terminal engagement. Responsibilities include building a six-degree-of-freedom reference model, developing navigation and estimation, managing error budgets, designing terminal guidance, quantifying miss budgets, tuning control algorithms, running simulation campaigns, and translating results into vehicle and subsystem requirements. The position requires a degree in aerospace, control, applied mathematics, or a related field, at least 10 years of GNC experience on high-performance systems, expertise across guidance, navigation, estimation, and control, and experience with flight-proven hypersonic or space systems.
