Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) System Architect and Algorithm Developer to design, develop, integrate, verify, and test flight-vehicle control systems and algorithms for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, and upper stages. The role focuses on advanced missile control systems, hypersonic weapon systems, and the Conventional Prompt Strike and Strategic Missile Defense portfolios, including architecture, control laws, sensor modeling, performance analysis, hardware-integrated testing, and weapons-system verification. The position requires aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering education, missile flight dynamics, control theory, MATLAB/Simulink, and software methods knowledge, with 9+ years of applicable GNC experience preferred.
