Description
The Optical Polishing Technician is responsible for manually polishing, lapping, and finishing ZnSe optical components to specified surface, dimensional, and cosmetic requirements. The role includes visual and metrological inspections, production and quality documentation, nonconformity reporting, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and leading assigned polishing activities. It requires 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience, precision manual work, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment; a vocational qualification or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
