Amazon is hiring a Hardware Development Engineer for its Launch Vehicle Integration - Electrical Engineering team to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain electrical ground support equipment supporting Amazon Leo satellite production, integration, and launch operations. The role covers schematic design, PCBA and harness development, rack-level systems, hardware bring-up, verification, configuration control, root-cause analysis, and occasional travel to integration and launch facilities. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and hands-on experience with electrical hardware, schematics, laboratory equipment, power distribution, signal interfaces, harnessing, testing, and documentation. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $96,600 to $160,000 annually.
