Amazon LEO is hiring a Hardware Development Engineer to lead the design of ground gateway systems for its Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation. The role owns or contributes to gigabit modem design, electronics subsystems, digital circuitry, schematic capture, PCB layout, stack-up optimization, board bring-up, testing, and production transition. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, at least five years of hardware engineering experience, experience with schematic and lab tools, and at least three years of high-speed or mixed-signal PCBA design experience. The position is available in San Diego, California, and Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.
