Description
The Hardware Development Engineer will own thermal design, simulation, optimization, validation, and testing for high-speed pluggable optical transceivers across OSFP, QSFP-DD, CFP, and related form factors. The role develops thermal architectures, selects cooling components, models airflow and component temperatures with FloTHERM, correlates simulations with laboratory measurements, and collaborates with mechanical, signal-integrity, optics, electronics, manufacturing, and reliability teams. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least three years of electronics cooling and thermal engineering experience, and experience with pluggable optical modules and thermal validation.
