Description
The Hardware Development Engineer will own the transition of optical pluggable modules from concept through high-volume manufacturing, driving design decisions for manufacturability, cost, quality, and automation. The role coordinates Product Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams; leads DFM, DFA, PFMEA, process qualification, and production ramp-up; supports OSFP, OSFP-XD, and QSFP-DD platforms; reviews mechanical components; and develops assembly procedures and manufacturing tooling. The position requires a mechanical or related engineering degree, at least three years of experience, Creo Parametric and GD&T proficiency, NPI and production-readiness experience, and familiarity with optical-module and thermal-engineering practices.
