Description
Amazon is hiring a Hardware Development Lab Engineer to support the development of satellite hardware for Amazon Leo. The role partners with design engineers through prototyping, development builds, testing, and qualification, while independently troubleshooting hardware, assembling spacecraft mechanisms, building test fixtures and automation, maintaining lab equipment, documenting engineering work, estimating resources, and training teammates. The position requires substantial space/aerospace or precision fabrication experience, a STEM degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to work at heights and with heavy equipment. It is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $99,400 to $160,000 annually.
