Description
The role is responsible for defining, analyzing, validating, and testing electro-optical subsystems for high-speed optical networking and communication systems. It involves cross-functional collaboration with optical, hardware, DSP, FPGA, firmware, product development, manufacturing, and product engineering teams; system-level modeling, link budgets, signal integrity, integration, characterization, reliability testing, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation. The position requires a technical degree, significant electro-optical hardware design, integration, and testing experience, laboratory experience, and proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and related optical and digital instrumentation.
