Description

Amazon LEO is hiring a Hardware Engineer to develop advanced antenna systems for its Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation. The role covers antenna system design and optimization, proof-of-concept and prototype development, RF circuitry, automated test systems and fixtures, active-antenna bring-up and testing, and PCB layout review. The engineer will work with Senior Electrical Engineers through the full product lifecycle. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, and offers a base salary of $96,600 to $160,000 annually, along with health, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or an equivalent field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of hardware design and validation experience
Preferred Qualifications: Full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle knowledge
Hardware/software integration and real-time systems experience
PhD in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
At least 1 year of schematic experience
At least 1 year of Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout experience
At least 1 year of laboratory equipment experience
