Description
AtlasBase is hiring a Hardware Engineer to support and enhance experimental systems and develop new production hardware for its CMOS chip-based DNA synthesis platform. The role involves designing, building, testing, validating, troubleshooting, and documenting custom hardware and tooling; collaborating with mechanical, chemical, electrical, and other engineers; and conducting feasibility and design-validation experiments. The position is onsite in South San Francisco and requires a BS in engineering, 2–5 years of product-development experience, biotechnology and DNA-synthesis experience, electro-mechanical knowledge, CAD and design-control familiarity, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
