Description
Lambda is hiring a Hardware Engineer to serve as the hands-on technical lead for integrating OEM and white-label HPC, AI/ML, general-purpose compute, storage, and network hardware into its HPC platform reference architectures. The role owns new product introduction, system bring-up, vendor evaluation, BOM review, hardware debugging, production readiness, and cross-functional delivery of scalable AI infrastructure. It requires at least five years of technical lead experience in hardware NPI and deployment for HPC, data center, or cloud infrastructure products, with hands-on laboratory work and familiarity with PLM systems and BOM structures. The position is based in Lambda’s San Jose office four days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day, and includes health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
