Optiver is hiring a Hardware Engineer in Austin to design and develop mechanical systems for high-performance computing and custom trading infrastructure. The role covers CAD modeling, thermal and structural analysis, prototyping, manufacturing, tooling, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and cross-functional hardware integration. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least three years of relevant experience, CAD and thermal-design expertise, and the ability to work with contract manufacturers.
