Optiver is hiring a Hardware Engineer in Austin to design, realize, test, bring up, and manufacture custom high-speed, high-density hardware systems, primarily PCBs. The role covers schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, initial bring-up code, test planning, debugging, performance research, and vendor management, with ownership from concept through production. Candidates need a BS in electrical or computer engineering, at least five years of industry experience, advanced ECAD and signal/power integrity skills, high-speed interface expertise, and Python knowledge.
