ORBCOMM is hiring a full-time, onsite Hardware Design Engineer in Sterling, Virginia to design, validate, test, and support industrial IoT devices and sensors across the product lifecycle. The role covers electronic component selection, schematics, PCB design, functional and parametric testing, hardware debugging, regulatory certification, manufacturing support, and cross-functional collaboration with embedded systems, software, product integrity, manufacturing, and industrial design teams. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, 3–5 years of relevant hardware design experience, and hands-on bench and test-automation experience. The anticipated starting salary is 100,000–115,000 USD.
