Description
DoorDash is hiring a Hardware Engineer focused on electronics packaging and vehicle integration for its next-generation autonomous delivery vehicle. The role owns mechanical design and release of electronic enclosures, housings, mounting systems, seals, connectors, and vehicle-level integration features, and partners with electrical, PCB, industrial design, systems, manufacturing, reliability, and supplier teams. Responsibilities include CAD design, GD&T and tolerance analysis, design verification, testing, supplier engagement, and troubleshooting. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least six years of experience designing electromechanical products, electronics packaging, vehicle systems, robotics, or ruggedized hardware. The role is a single hire with a 12-11-2026 deadline and a United States base salary range of $139,400 to $205,000.
