Virtu is hiring an onsite Hardware Engineer Intern in Dublin, Ireland for a 10-week programme from 21 June 2027 to 27 August 2027. The role focuses on FPGA and ASIC design for ultra-low latency trading systems, covering architecture, RTL implementation, simulation, verification, and hardware bring-up. Applicants should have an electrical or computer engineering background, experience with hardware description languages and FPGA vendor tools, programming ability in Python, C++, or a similar language, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be graduating in 2028.
