General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is hiring a full-time Hardware Engineering Developer focused on FPGA development for its Advanced Vetronics Systems division. The role develops and tests FPGA-based electronics for armoured-vehicle systems, including video interfaces, smart displays, fire control, ballistics computing, and vehicle control. Responsibilities include VHDL and HLS development, Vivado implementation, functional and performance testing, system integration, IP core development, and resolution of complex FPGA issues. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, FPGA development experience, and the ability to obtain a Canadian government security clearance; the hiring range is $75,000–$85,000 with medical, dental, and vision coverage.
