Description
The HITL Design & Maintenance Engineer will design, maintain, and validate Hardware-in-the-Loop systems for embedded controllers in power electronic applications involving IGBTs, SCRs, and SiC technologies. The role involves developing MATLAB/Simulink plant models, integrating them with real-time platforms such as Opal-RT, Speedgoat, or dSPACE, configuring hardware interfaces, testing inverter controller software, debugging control algorithms, and maintaining traceability between requirements and test coverage. The position is on-site in Erie, Pennsylvania, requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and 3–5 years of HIL and real-time simulation experience, and includes health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
