Description

Sidus Space is hiring a Hardware Integration and Test Engineer to perform hands-on integration, bring-up, functional testing, and verification of satellite electrical systems, circuit boards, and assemblies. The role involves troubleshooting hardware defects, developing test plans and procedures, documenting results, collaborating with engineering and vendor teams, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. The position is 100% onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida, with a Monday-through-Friday day shift and less than 10% travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, with coursework in digital/analog circuit design
Required Previous Experiences: At least two years of hands-on experience with hardware integration, bring-up, circuit board testing, or electrical system verification
Experience using electrical laboratory equipment for debugging and testing
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hardware system engineering lifecycle tools
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium
Familiarity with Python, Linux, Bash, or similar for test automation and data collection
Hands-on circuit board troubleshooting, power-on testing, signal probing, or mixed-signal debugging experience
