Base is hiring a Hardware Integration Engineer to design and integrate battery management systems, inverters, and microgrid interconnect devices for residential energy storage. The role involves developing system architecture and electrical schematics, testing and troubleshooting hardware, collaborating with software teams on control algorithms, and supporting regulatory compliance and product certification. Candidates need a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at least five years of hardware development experience, and expertise in power electronics, battery systems, embedded programming, communication protocols, PCB design, circuit simulation, and relevant electrical standards.
