Description
Cardo Systems is hiring a Hardware Manager to lead a six-person hardware engineering team within its R&D organization. Reporting to the VP of R&D, the role owns the complete hardware product lifecycle from requirements and architecture through design, validation, certification, production release, and mass production. Responsibilities include technical leadership, hardware architecture, RF and connectivity product development, testing and regulatory compliance, documentation, manufacturing support, DFM/DFT, NPI, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 10+ years of hardware development leadership experience, with expertise in analog and digital design, PCB development, OrCAD, Altium, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, RF testing, and low-power RF certifications.
