Google is hiring a Hardware Operations Manager to lead a team of Data Center Technicians and oversee the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server hardware, server software, networking equipment, and related data center infrastructure. The role also manages facility activities, security and operational procedures, environmental health and safety compliance, and project contingency planning. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware experience, and 5 years managing technical, vendor, contract, or delivery teams. The position offers a USD 138,000–200,000 base salary plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
