Description

Apple is hiring a Hardware Engineering Intern to support electrical and system design and integration across Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Mac products. The role covers camera, touch, display, wireless, ASIC/VLSI, system development, audio, embedded systems, firmware, and quality engineering activities, including testing, validation, debugging, and qualification of electrical subsystems. Candidates must be currently pursuing a PhD in an electrical, computer, or related engineering field and must return to school after the internship or complete it as the final requirement for graduation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications: Computer system architecture, digital logic design and verification, digital and analog circuit analysis, and Analog IC
Chip design and microarchitecture of on-chip interconnection networks
Antenna, cellular, wireless, OTA, RF Engineering, high-speed signals, wireless communication theory, and RF circuit design
CPU & GPU Architecture
Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Perl, SQL, Assembly, Mac OS X, PH, Obj-C, VHDL, Verilog RTL, or Digital Logic Design
Experience using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes
Experience interpreting schematics and debugging circuits via FPGA or PCBs
Prior internship, relevant project, teaching assistance, or relevant work experience
