Description
The Product Design Engineer will collaborate with industrial designers, product integrity, hardware, software, and technology teams to develop product layouts, generate concepts, prototype, test, and optimize designs for function, cosmetics, and manufacturability. The role includes stress, tolerance, and failure analysis, design for assembly and high-volume manufacturing of injection-molded, die-cast, sheetmetal, and machined parts, metrology, fixture design, and up to 20% travel to Asia for factory builds. A BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, engineering fundamentals, and at least two years of mechanical engineering experience are required.
