Meta Robotics Studio is hiring a Research Engineer to design and develop complex electromechanical robotics systems. The role covers mechanical and electrical system design, analytical modeling, prototype construction, testing, failure analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. It may involve research in electromechanics, sensors and communications, and planning and control. Candidates need a BS degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least five years of relevant design experience, and expertise in CAD, prototyping, embedded systems, communication protocols, and tolerance analysis.
