Description

The System EE will own electrical and system design integration for the MacBook Air, translating product requirements into robust electrical subsystems. Responsibilities include defining, designing, simulating, testing, and validating subsystems; developing schematics and constrained multilayer PCBs; leading system bring-up and hardware debugging; presenting tradeoffs to engineering leadership; and supporting manufacturing, factory builds, yield excursions, and production improvements. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, at least three years of consumer electronics or embedded systems experience, and expertise in circuit design, power delivery, high-speed interfaces, PCB design, and electrical validation.
