MatX is hiring a Hardware Systems Engineer to own the design, specification, schematic capture, verification, reliability testing, and lab bring-up of compute trays, boards, and interconnects for a rack-scale AI data center platform. The role requires extensive system-level hardware experience, including DC/DC and VRM design, BMC and DC-SCM, high-speed interfaces, PCIe, board design tools, and lab equipment. The position is full-time and requires both design and laboratory work, with US base salary ranging from $160,000 to $600,000 plus equity depending on career level.
