Apple is hiring a Prototype Hardware Engineer in Austin, Texas to perform prototype bring-up, debugging, functional verification, and electrical characterization. The role manages engineering builds, coordinates cross-functional teams, implements component-level reworks, develops automated PCBA and system-level processes, supports board and system debugging, and tracks quality and failure trends. It requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field, four years of experience in the offered or related occupation, and four years of experience with each listed PCB, SMT, reliability, troubleshooting, and quality-analysis skill.
