BAE Systems is hiring an onsite Hardware Team Leader in Rochester to provide managerial and technical leadership for a multidisciplinary electronics design team supporting safety-critical aerospace and defense products, including helmet-mounted and head-up displays, mission computers, flight controls, and active inceptors. The role covers work-package management, cost and schedule control, risk and opportunity management, technical governance, production support, continuous improvement, reporting technical maturity, and resource planning. Candidates need demonstrated leadership of engineering teams across the product development lifecycle, experience with cost, planning, product design, and work-package control, and knowledge of improvement methods, root-cause analysis, failure reduction, and MDBF; DOORS, MSP, and JIRA experience is desirable.
