Description
OpenAI is hiring a Hardware Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans for AI hardware systems used in data center deployments. The role covers processor, memory, custom accelerator, and interconnect testing; hardware debugging; signal-integrity and high-speed SerDes analysis; thermal, power, and electrical characterization; equipment maintenance; and automation using Python, Bash, and test frameworks. Candidates should have at least 10 years of industry experience, including hardware testing or support for datacenter applications, along with experience across xPU, board, rack, and data center levels.
