AWS is hiring a Hardware Validation Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of next-generation Ethernet switching platforms for its data centers. The role involves creating validation plans, reviewing hardware designs, testing components and subsystems, analyzing test data, troubleshooting hardware issues, supporting new product introduction and sustaining engineering, and developing test automation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, at least five years of hardware design and validation experience, and expertise in PCB reviews, power and thermal validation, high-speed I/O, and related hardware testing. The position is based in Cupertino, California, with a base salary of 157,300 to 212,800 USD annually.
