Description
Apex is hiring an Avionics Harness Design Engineer to design, analyze, verify, and qualify electrical harnesses for spacecraft, satellites, rovers, and other aerospace systems. The role covers wiring diagrams, schematics, 3D routing, connector and shielding selection, electrical and environmental analysis, EMI/EMC compliance, test planning, documentation, and support through assembly and testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of aerospace harness design experience, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of spaceflight and quality standards. The position offers a base salary of $125,000–$165,000 per year, equity, healthcare, retirement benefits, and a Playa Vista office.
