Description
Planet is hiring a Harness Manufacturing Engineer to establish and operate an in-house wire harness production cell for its satellite programs. The role owns manufacturing engineering and production operations, develops assembly procedures and cleanroom/ESD protocols, designs tooling and verification programs, provides design-for-manufacturability feedback, supports integration and troubleshooting, manages make-versus-buy transitions, trains production technicians, and monitors capacity. It is a full-time, in-office position in San Francisco requiring at least four years of manufacturing development experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and hands-on harness fabrication and hardware assembly skills.
