Description
Standard Nuclear is hiring a Hazardous Waste Specialist in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to characterize, package, label, document, inspect, coordinate shipments, and dispose of radioactive, hazardous, mixed, universal, and non-hazardous waste. The role partners with operations, environmental, safety, radiological, laboratory, transportation, and disposal teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and accurate records. It requires hands-on waste handling, field inspections, PPE and monitoring equipment use, and completion of applicable DOT, RCRA, radiation, and waste-management training.
