Description
The Diocese of Aachen is seeking a Head of Department for Schools and Higher Education to lead the department strategically and operationally, oversee diocesan schools and higher education institutions, represent the Diocese with state and public authorities, approve curricula and teaching regulations, supervise Catholic religious instruction, and coordinate school pastoral care. The role requires university-level teaching education, several years of professional and leadership experience in education, strategic management, organizational development, and personnel leadership, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. It is a full-time permanent position with mobile working, flexible hours, and a gross annual salary of €93,592 to €103,425, prospectively up to €120,399. Applications were due by 4 October 2026.
