Description
AI Foundry is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead mechanical and electrical engineering for a hardware business being built from the ground up. The role sets engineering direction across systems, prototyping, validation, reliability, manufacturability, and product development; builds and leads a hardware engineering team; translates business goals into engineering roadmaps; and owns the path from prototype through launch readiness. The position requires prior hardware engineering leadership, cross-disciplinary depth, and the ability to build teams and processes from scratch, with international travel to India at least eight times per year. Compensation is $275,000–$425,000+, with medical and dental benefits and a 401K.
