Description
AALTO is hiring a Head of Flight Physics in Farnborough for a full-time permanent role with 37 hours and a hybrid arrangement. The role leads Zephyr flight physics activities across aerodynamics, flight control laws, flight dynamics, and flight loads; manages a team of three flight physics specialists; develops aeroelastic, flight dynamics, and aero-loads models; runs CFD and MATLAB/Simulink simulations; defines control laws and algorithm architectures; establishes qualification and verification processes; and supports flight test and engineering documentation. The position requires an engineering or physics degree, experience with unmanned autonomous air systems, and familiarity with aerospace flight physics and flight-control clearance processes.
