Description

CRS is hiring a Head of Programming I for Afghanistan and Pakistan to lead the Business Management Unit’s programming strategy, project design, implementation, budgeting, partnerships, resource mobilization, and capacity strengthening. The role reports to the Country Representative, requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant field-based program management and senior management experience, includes up to 60% internal travel between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and offers benefits based on the country of employment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in International Development, International Relations, or a relevant field
Required Previous Experiences: 5–8 years of relevant field-based program management and at least two years of senior management experience evolving diversified programs and donors
Experience developing proposals, reports, strategic alliances, project designs, project management, and monitoring and evaluation
Experience in partner capacity strengthening, staff development, training, mentoring, team building, and strategic planning
Experience in community development, community mobilization, or similar grassroots initiatives
Experience managing project grants, including design, budgeting, expenditure tracking, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting
Experience conducting successful business development activities to secure public and/or private donor funding
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in international development, International Relations, or a related field
Experience engaging partners and strengthening partnerships
