Ajax Systems is hiring a Technical Lead / Engineering Manager to lead the development of its Automation software ecosystem. The role audits existing systems, establishes architecture and development standards, improves engineering practices, develops high-load and production-critical systems, and mentors team leads. Responsibilities span cloud, desktop, DevOps, ML/CV, API, database, event processing, CI/CD, testing, observability, code quality, and technical debt reduction. The position requires substantial experience leading engineering teams, designing distributed systems, developing commercial desktop systems, and working with Linux and AWS.
