Description
SSC Space is hiring a Head of Safety for its Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden. The role leads the overall safety function and Safety Management System across rocket and balloon launches, testing, and future orbital launch activities, coordinating safety specialists, authorities, permits, emergency response, airspace and public-safety matters, incident management, safety planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement. It is a full-time permanent hybrid position requiring a relevant engineering, safety, risk-management, HSE, or fire-protection degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of safety or HSE experience in a regulated industrial or operational environment, leadership experience, and fluent Swedish and English.
