Save the Children Action Network is hiring a Head, SCAN to provide strategic, operational, and managerial leadership for its U.S.-based grassroots advocacy and political engagement arm. The role oversees state legislative, electoral, and federal advocacy campaigns; multidisciplinary teams; operations, budgeting, compliance, fundraising, donor engagement, strategic partnerships, external affairs, and governance. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in advocacy, political strategy, campaign leadership, or related fields, and experience with c3 and c4 donor cultivation. The position is hybrid in Washington, DC, with a target base salary of $187,000–$209,000 for candidates in locations around the United States national labor-cost average.
