Description
The City of Oakland's Human Services Department, Head Start Division, is hiring a Head Start/Early Head Start Associate Instructor to instruct children, support early-childhood development, conduct assessments and screenings, plan activities, organize classroom and home materials, support home visits, and prepare meals. The role requires 12 post-secondary units in early childhood education or child development, an Associate Teacher Child Development Permit or higher, and four months of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group program.
